LLR Integrated Care Board

Our practice is part of a Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board (LLR ICB) who plan and manage most local health care services.

Following a change to the Health and Social Care Act, primary care trusts (PCTs) were abolished and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), led by GPs, took over the responsibility for planning and managing health care for their local population, these have now also been abolished and replaced by Integrated Care Boards.

ICBs aim to improve the way the local NHS engages and communicates with our patients, public, clinicians, staff, partners and other stakeholders.
